Millbrook

Situated next to native vegetation conservation bushland, this rural home is designed to take full advantage of the views of the native bushland, as well as maximise north-light and heat.

Due to the location, bushfire considerations were always in mind and as such the external palette is a combination of Australian hardwood and metal to ensure high resistance against the threat of fires.

Built using Passivhaus principles, this house is off-grid, fully electric, and zoned to ensure maximum efficiency as the occupants grow and shrink over the course of the year.
