Mollongghip

A modern interpretation of the traditional farmhouse homestead in rural Victoria. The design pays homage to the simple and practical forms of vernacular farm buildings with bold dark external materials setting it apart from the surrounding landscape.

The rural site meant good opportunity to maximise north-facing glazing and adopt good energy efficient design principles, as well as capturing the stunning landscape of the Victorian farmlands.
