Lake Wendouree

An addition to a large, weatherboard heritage home in the heart of Ballarat. The addition needed to be sympathetic to the original material palette, although clearly a new addition.

A large window following the raking internal ceiling takes advantage of the north-facing block and maximises natural light and heat during the cold Ballarat winters.

PassivHaus principles were adopted for the constructionto ensure high energy efficiency.
