A large rural house for a young couple to raise a family and age in place.

The design focusses on environmentally sustainable design principles, as well as responding to the threat of bushfires in the area by being clad in fire-resistant materials.

The house is planned to be fully off-grid with good northerly aspect and cross ventilation allowing for passive heating/cooling through good use of thermal mass, as well as large solar array with battery and doemstic water tanks.
